The following Maps depict the location and watersheds for both the St. Lucie and Loxahatchee Rivers. The aerial shown of Martin County, the focus of our initiative, shows many of the wetland areas that contribute to these rivers. The Wildlife Corridors are passages for wildlife and hikers. Florida Forever is a program funded by the State of Florida to purchase and preserve these areas. Your letter of support for the Loxa-Lucie Headwaters Initiative to your congressional representative will help enhance our project s rating on the state list.
